I’ve been doing a lot of research recently about photography because I really want to learn how to take photos in a professional and very creative way. I love taking pictures and I like capturing special moments that I see randomly everywhere.

As of now, I’m still depending with photography books because I’m still attached with my full time job and I don’t have the time to attend classes yet. I’ve been practicing with my brother in law’s camera because he almost has complete tools since he’s into photography as well. In fact, he’s been covering events already for his sideline and sometimes, I go with him to assist and of course to learn.

By the middle of the year, I’m planning to buy my own canon slr cameras and I’ll push through with my photography class. I really want to learn that’s why I already started saving money so I can invest with a good camera. For now, I’ll stick with my brother in law’s extra camera so I can start exploring different angles, effects, perfect lighting as I go on self studying.

Early November, my siblings, cousin and I decided to venture with a new business. It’s a small business though but it’s sure to capture almost everyone because we cater services for birthday parties, baptisms and even weddings.

We all came up with the idea of candy buffet table when my sister in law set up her own during her daughter’s 1st birthday party. We suddenly thought to make it as our business since most of the parties now have dessert tables and we all agreed to name it Sweet Royals.

I was actually the one who thought of the name as well the packages that we offer. My cousin and my sister are the ones doing the marketing strategies and as my sister in law is the one doing all the shopping for our tools and of course candies. She’s also the one negotiating with our suppliers specifically our cupcakes. And as for me, I’m the one maintaining our website and fan page on Facebook. Every time we have an event, I am assigned to upload pictures and answer inquiries as well.

My niece expresses her love for music as early as 4 years old. In fact, she took drums and violin lessons already and her parents bought her own set so she can practice more and enhance her talents and skills.

One thing that I noticed from her is she really enjoys doing different things. She’s into art, sports like gymnastics and swimming and playing musical instruments. As of now, she’s starting to practice playing guitar and she’s asking her parents if they can buy Ibanez Bass on her next birthday since her party will have a rock star theme. Her parents are planning to enroll her in guitar classes so she’ll be able to practice just in time for her birthday. She’ll be performing with her dad, which they always do during her birthday so it will be best if she’ll have more rehearsals.

I hope that she’ll be able to keep things up because it’s great to see kids engaged to various activities as they are not just having fun but they are also learning in many ways.

On March 10, 2012, one of my love ones will finally tie the knot from his long time girlfriend. They are going to have a vintage theme wedding and I’m one of the secondary sponsors in their entourage.

Everything is almost prepared from the venue down to the smallest details of their wedding preparations. Last 2 weeks ago, I went to their gown designer to have a fitting and by first week of February, I’ll have my second fitting to make further adjustments. The gowns are very chic with a touch of vintage. As for the boys, most are wearing tuxedos with matching fedora hat and suspenders just to maintain the classic and stylish look of the theme.

I can already picture out the wedding and I feel like this will be a perfect one. Vintage style is one of my dreams as well when it comes to wedding theme and I’m excited to see the outcome of all our preparations.

I was finally able to meet Siri. Last January 5, 2012, I was able to pick up my iPhone 4s from Globe. A month before that, I called Globe customer service to reserve 1 unit since I have an existing plan.

The original plan was to get a 16gb white iPhone 4s, but the agent said that there is no available unit by that time and there is no word from the office yet for the next delivery schedule. I was about to say goodbye to the agent and planned to call again from time to time to check for the availability of my unit but due to my excitement and I really can’t wait to have one, I suddenly switched to 64gb white instead. The agent processed my application and before our conversation ended, she confirmed my reservation and provided the pick up date with its reference number.

And so I waited until the said pick up date and it’s a good thing that their schedule was prompt and there were no delays unlike with what had happened to my sister.

I’m really happy with my phone and this is actually my post Christmas gift to myself. Though I spent another big amount of money, still I’m happy because I think that I really deserve a small treat to myself.

Being a doctor is one of my frustrations. Before, I wanted to become a doctor but then I suddenly realized that I couldn’t do all medical practices because first and foremost, I hate blood and I can’t stand it. And because of that, I gave up my dream of becoming a doctor.

Due to this interest, I always look up to successful doctors that we have today. I always feel proud for them even though I don’t really know them personally. But just by thinking of all the hard works and the very long years that they need to finish in school, I always give them two thumbs up.

And today, I wonder how many doctors will be successful for this year? I have friends who are currently taking up medicines and I know how keen and hardworking they are in order for them to finally become a doctor. In fact, they are doing all preparations that they need already as earl as now. They even registered with Alan Bank MD on doximity, which is known to be the best networking tool exclusively for physicians and other health care issues.

It’s a good thing that we have these experts to help us but I just hope that our government will give more importance to these professionals so they will be more inspired and encouraged to do well.

Does anyone of you know a friend or a family member who was diagnosed with diabetes and then later on became a cancer victim? Why am I exactly asking?

As I searched through the web, I found out that there were reported cases just recently about one of the causes of cancer that affects or damages the bladder. I was browsing the Internet and then all of a sudden, I thought of my dream wedding. I don’t know why it into my mind considering that I’m not seeing anything about weddings with all the pages I visited on the net. Well I guess, these are just my random thoughts for the day, which I decided to write.

I always thought of having a wedding in a church like the usual but somehow, I’m dreaming of another set up that is not really unique yet creative enough for people to think that I was really the one who came up with all the ideas.

The wedding ceremony should be in a very nice beach resort. Everything should be white and I want everyone to be barefooted. That’s actually the first few things that came up to my mind when I though of a beach wedding. I want white lanterns as well and instead of red carpet, I want flowers and then seashells for the lining of the pathway.
As for the reception, fireworks and sparklers will surely not be missed. And as part of the program during the reception, I’ll provide butterflies to everyone and we’ll let then fly all together.

These are just some of my ideas for now and I know, once it’s time for me to really prepare my own wedding, more stuff and ideas will be brought up.

My cousin has been having troubles with her laptop lately. Just last week, while she was doing her case study, her laptop crashed and unfortunately, she doesn’t have a complete back up for she was not able to save it. This was not the first time it happened to her and in the end; she needed to spend more time to finish her papers.

As of now, since I’m not usually using my laptop, I decided to lend it to her for the mean time so she will have something to use while she’s looking for discount computers to replace her old one. But then, she’s not very used to my laptop as I’m using a MacBook and she’s an all time Windows XP user so she’s still trying to figure out some commands and options.

I just really hope that she’ll be able to finish her papers on time. I heard that she’ll have a defense next week so she better finish her papers so she can submit it for approval before her defense.

This is the brain child of me, my sister, my cousin and my sister-in-law. We are all pitching in to make this a success. My sister and my cousin takes care of the marketing of the business, my sister-in-law takes care of shopping for the items that we need every time that we have a party as well as the design and the creation of the backdrops, while I am in charge of taking care of our Facebook Fan Page as well as doing research on how to expand our clients.

Another year has ended and yet another year has started and this just means that new styles and new trends are yet to come. Like what we always say, "out with the old and in with the new".

So what exactly is in store for men and women? According to some fashion guru, seventies fashion will still remain on the top list. Skinny or tight jeans will be out for now and flare denims and wide-leg pants in lightweight fabrics will be the latest trends for today. Brighter colors will be seen very often and high-heeled sandals or wedges instead of knee-high boots.

In addition, black or white jackets or tuxedos will be in for both men and women. Pair up you dress with your tuxedo and slip on a bright colored or even neutral colored pumps then you can go all the way to your work.

For an effortless summer look, keep a high-slit skirt in your wardrobe and pair it with a cotton tank for a very easy look for an evening wear or even for casual occasions.

And talking about sixties and seventies look, peter pan collar will surely be a big hit, be it in a plain color or candy colored top.
